Lead Security Officer

Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site leadership and supervision for all assigned security personnel.
  • Serve as primary liaison between Metro One and client facility management.
  • Train and supervise staff on emergency response procedures, fire safety measures, injury and incident reporting processes.
  • Ensure full compliance with Metro One’s internal policies, protocols, and performance standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and document risk conditions, incidents, and safety concerns.
  • Report findings to both client and Metro One leadership in a timely, professional manner.
  • Support the performance of emergency initiatives, incident response, and operational readiness.
  • Manage all security-related equipment and patrol vehicles, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
  • Foster productive, collaborative relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Implement and maintain effective communication protocols to ensure seamless coordination.

Qualifications
  • Supervisory or lead experience managing uniform security staff is required.
  • Background in security or safety operations within logistics, fulfillment, or industrial settings preferred.
  • Prior experience in the security industry, military or law enforcement is required.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency procedures, safety standards, and personnel training.
  • Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings and meet local licensing requirements.
  • Active State Guard License (or ability to obtain one prior to employment).
  • Reliable form of transportation to and from assigned work locations.
  • Weekend availability as required by site scheduling needs.
