San Diego, CA. Part‑time Security Officer with Allied Universal® offers flexibility and the opportunity to support a premier financial institution. This unarmed patrol role includes monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating incidents.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations calmly, solve problems, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and report maintenance, access control, and property concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access per site procedures, and document visitor, delivery, and contractor activity per post instructions.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident, patrol activity, and notable observation reports, and support Allied Universal and site leadership with follow‑up information when requested.

• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal history considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screening will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
