** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential housing community.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable armed post protocols.

+ Monitor access to the property, observe activity throughout the community, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

+ Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate relevant information to site management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
