As a Armed Security Officer - Full Time Dedicated Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care.

Pay Rate: $25.75 / Hour

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a valid firearms permit, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
