Job Description As a Armed Security Shipyard Patrol Officer in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations.

Full Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
* Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, and control entry and exit in accordance with site-specific requirements.
* Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
* Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
* Possess an armed guard card/license.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
