As a Security Officer - Afternoon Retail Center Patrol in San Diego, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. • Tue 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
