Role DescriptionThe Service Manager - Security Systems is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Diego Metropolitan Area. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the security systems service department, including managing service technicians, scheduling and prioritizing work orders, and ensuring timely, high-quality resolution of customer issues. The Service Manager coordinates preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and troubleshooting activities across electronic security platforms.
Responsibilities include monitoring service performance, maintaining documentation, supporting compliance with security standards, and serving as a primary point of contact for customer escalations. The role also involves collaborating with sales and engineering teams, optimizing service processes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Candidates should possess skills in Information Security to support secure system operations and protect sensitive data.
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Security to manage and troubleshoot security systems connected to customer networks.
- Candidates should possess skills in Security Management to oversee service delivery, risk mitigation, and adherence to security best practices.
- Experience managing field service teams or technical support staff in electronic or physical security environments.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and system diagrams, and to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant education or certifications in security, IT, or related technical fields are beneficial (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar).
- Capacity to work on-site in the San Diego Metropolitan Area and travel locally to customer locations as needed.
