Armed Security Shipyard Officer

Allied Universal seeks an Armed Security Shipyard Officer for afternoon patrols at a maritime facility. In this role, you will conduct foot and vehicle patrols, monitor access points, verify credentials, and enforce site rules to protect personnel, vessels, and assets. Responsibilities include responding to alarms and incidents, writing clear incident and daily activity reports, and coordinating with shipyard staff and emergency responders.

You will maintain high visibility, follow strict safety and weapons protocols, and apply Allied Universal's standards of professionalism, customer service, and vigilance on every shift.

Responsibilities

• Conduct armed foot and vehicle patrols of shipyard and perimeter
• Control access, check credentials, and screen visitors and vehicles
• Monitor docks, vessels, and restricted areas for suspicious activity or hazards
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following post orders
• Liaise with shipyard personnel and public safety/emergency responders
• Prepare clear, detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Follow all firearms, safety, and use-of-force policies and procedures
• Operate CCTV and security systems as required
• Provide professional customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors
• Participate in ongoing training and comply with Allied Universal standards
