Loss Prevention Analyst

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay: $25-$30/hour DOE

A growing multi-location retail organization is seeking a Loss Prevention Analyst to support asset protection, operational compliance, and fraud prevention initiatives. This role combines transaction analysis, surveillance review, operational audits, and investigative reporting to identify risks, reduce shrink, and improve store-level compliance.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in retail loss prevention, asset protection, fraud investigations, restaurant operations, or retail auditing who enjoy uncovering trends, investigating exceptions, and protecting business assets.

• Review surveillance footage to investigate theft, fraud, policy violations, and operational concerns
• Analyze POS transaction reports, including voids, refunds, discounts, cash shortages, unpaid orders, and other exception reporting
• Compare transaction activity against video evidence to identify discrepancies and potential loss
• Review store opening and closing procedures, cash handling practices, back door activity, and other operational processes
• Investigate trends, anomalies, and recurring issues impacting operational compliance
• Prepare detailed reports and document findings for leadership review
• Partner with store leadership and operations teams to recommend corrective actions and loss prevention strategies
• Maintain strict confidentiality while handling investigations and sensitive information

• 2+ years of experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Fraud Investigation, Retail Auditing, Risk Analysis, or a related field
• Experience reviewing POS transactions and exception-based reporting
• Experience using CCTV or video surveillance systems to support investigations
  
  Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills
• Ability to identify patterns, trends, and operational risks
• Retail, restaurant, hospitality, convenience store, or multi-location experience strongly preferred
