Fire Extinguisher Technician

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fire Extinguisher Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment. The technician will ensure compliance with fire safety codes and company standards, providing essential services to commercial, industrial, and residential clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Inspect, test, and service portable fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA (National

* Fire Protection Association) standards and local fire codes

* Refill and recharge fire extinguishers after use or inspection

* Perform hydrostatic testing and maintenance of fire extinguishers

* Install new fire extinguishers and ensure proper placement and labeling

* Maintain accurate service records and complete inspection reports

* Communicate clearly with customers about service findings and recommended actions

* Identify faulty equipment and recommend replacement or upgrades

* Keep up to date with industry regulations, standards, and safety practices

* Drive company service vehicle to customer locations (if required)

* Reliable and predictable attendance is required for the function of this job
