Fiber Technician

Location: Lathrop, CA (techs support jobs throughout the Bay Area)

Schedule: Primarily night work (some flexibility depending on project needs)

Pay: Competitive wages, DOE

We are hiring experienced Fiber Technicians to support enterprise fiber network work throughout the Bay Area. This role is best for technicians who have supported large carrier or enterprise accounts and can deliver clean, consistent work in active network environments. • Perform fiber installation and maintenance in enterprise network environments
• Splicing (single mode and multi mode) and high quality fiber terminations
• Testing and troubleshooting using OTDR, power meter, and VFL
• Read prints, follow work orders, and complete closeout documentation
• Maintain clean job sites and follow safety and customer standards
• Communicate clearly with leads and project teams to keep work moving

• Proven experience working on enterprise fiber networks
• Experience supporting large carrier or enterprise accounts
• Strong splicing, testing, and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working nights and traveling throughout the Bay Area as needed
• Reliable transportation, strong attendance, and a professional attitude
• Able to work independently while still being a strong teammate

• Experience in data centers, POPs, carrier hotels, or metro backbone builds
• Familiarity with labeling standards and closeout documentation requirements
• Certifications or manufacturer training (not required)
