Job Description
I am currently seeking a full-time (3 years) Experienced Residential Journeyman Electrician and apprentices. Your job will involve installing electrical wiring in residential homes from rough to finish work, part new construction and part remodel. Solar installation on occasion. Company van provided. Must have a valid CA drivers license. Pay will be determined by your experience and knowledge of the trade.
Responsibilities- Execute plans of electrical equipment and fixtures
- Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, circuit‑breaker panels etc.)
- Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
- Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
