What this job involves:
The Electrician position at JLL is a critical technical role responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient operation of complex electrical systems across our facilities. You'll be at the forefront of installation, maintenance, and repair work-handling everything from standard electrical circuits to advanced systems including VFDs, building automation equipment, and medium voltage installations. This role combines hands-on electrical expertise with problem-solving abilities in dynamic environments where your technical skills directly impact facility operations and client satisfaction.

What your day-to-day will look like:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including wiring, circuits, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures while ensuring strict compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues such as malfunctioning equipment, circuit overloads, and wiring problems by analyzing technical data, diagnosing root causes, and implementing effective solutions while maintaining accurate service logs.
Install and service advanced electrical components including variable frequency drives (VFDs), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, and building automation system (BAS) equipment such as sensors, actuators, and control panels.
Collaborate with mechanical teams to support installation and repair of HVAC equipment including air handlers, chillers, ducting, and dampers, ensuring integrated building systems operate seamlessly.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients regarding project status, technical issues, and service requirements while adapting to evolving business needs and maintaining the highest ethical standards in all interactions.
Required Qualifications:
* Current valid Electrical Certification or C10 license (or state/jurisdiction equivalent) in good standing.
* Minimum 3 years of practical, hands-on working experience as an electrician in the industrial or commercial electrical equipment service industry.
* Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems across multiple voltage levels including 24V, 48V, 120V, and 480V applications, with demonstrated ability to work safely with each.
* Technical expertise with variable frequency drives (VFDs), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, building automation systems (BAS), and lighting control systems.
* Valid driver's license in good standing with ability to operate JLL vehicles and travel to multiple facility locations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience working in regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, or other Life Science industries with understanding of compliance requirements.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings for installation and troubleshooting purposes.
* Medium voltage electrical experience with knowledge of high-voltage systems, switch gear, and distribution equipment.
* Familiarity with Power Logic systems, energy management platforms, and building monitoring software for advanced diagnostics and system optimization.
* Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order management, documentation, and preventive maintenance tracking.

Work Shift:
Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Estimated compensation for this position:
72,800. USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
