Fixed Maintenance Senior

Vulcan Materials Company - 7500 Mission Gorge Road - Responsibilities:
Observe mechanical devices in operation and troubleshoot problems;
Review lubrication reports and service records and perform oil, lube and filter service on all assigned equipment;
Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools;
Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections;
Inspect and identify conditions of equipment (wear, alignment, function);
Inspect, diagnose and perform repair and maintenance of all plant stationary equipment;
Adjust functional parts of device and control instruments using hand and/or power tools;
General plant maintenance inspection and diagnosis & repairs;
Perform unsupervised repair of plant components;
Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including repairs to crushing, screening, conveying, speed reducers, feeders, vibrators, air compressors and pumping equipment;
Perform welding tasks as required to accomplish stated installation/repair jobs;
Install special functional and structural parts in device
