Position: Field Service Technician - Dialysis (Travel)

Field Service Technician

At Quanta Dialysis Technologies, we are transforming the future of kidney care through innovative technology designed to improve the way dialysis is delivered. Our systems are built to bring greater flexibility, performance, and simplicity to patients, providers, and care teams.

Compensation for the role is $32.00 - $38.00 per hour. Overtime expected.

We are looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Field Service Technician to support the installation, upgrade, repair, and servicing of Quanta's dialysis systems at customer sites across the U.S.

This is a 100% travel-based role. Candidates must be based in California and live within close commuting distance of a major airport and be willing to travel nationally, often on short notice.

This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable being on the road, working independently in the field, and supporting customers in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Install and set up dialysis systems at customer sites, including basic configuration and equipment readiness
  • Deliver a high level of customer service while on site by communicating clearly, acting professionally, setting appropriate expectations, and ensuring customer needs are addressed or escalated in a timely manner
  • Perform equipment upgrades, repairs, part replacements, and system modifications as directed
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Field Service Engineers or senior technical staff
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer specifications
  • Support delivery, movement, and logistics of new equipment within assigned customer locations
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation in compliance with company Quality Management System requirements
  • Manage assigned inventory of spare parts, tools, test equipment, and consumables
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer needs and support successful product use
  • Follow all health, safety, regulatory, and company procedures while working in field environments
