Service Alarm Technician

Securitas Technology seeks a Service Alarm Technician to install, program, and service electronic security and life safety systems for commercial and enterprise clients. You'll troubleshoot alarms, access control, and related devices, complete inspections and preventive maintenance, and ensure code compliance and system reliability. Working in a safety- and integrity-focused culture, you'll deliver professional, customer-centered on-site support while collaborating with technical and monitoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and service electronic alarm and life safety systems for commercial and enterprise clients
• Perform troubleshooting, testing, and repairs on intrusion, fire, and access control systems
• Complete site inspections, system checks, and preventive maintenance to ensure code compliance and reliability
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system schematics
• Configure panels, peripherals, and network-connected devices and document all service activities
• Collaborate with project managers and monitoring teams to ensure successful system integration
• Train end users on system operation and basic troubleshooting
• Follow safety protocols, company standards, and regulatory requirements on every job
• Maintain accurate records, service reports, and inventory of parts and tools
• Provide professional, customer-focused on-site support and timely issue resolution
