Maintenance Technician – Automated Production Equipment
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated production equipment and facility systems. This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoys identifying problems and keeping equipment running efficiently.
The Maintenance Technician will work with mechanical, electrical, electronic, and control systems and coordinate outside service assistance when necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility systems and production equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software-related equipment issues
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble automated production equipment
- Troubleshoot sensors, motors, servos, pneumatics, electronics, and control systems
- Identify equipment problems and determine appropriate repair solutions
- Perform equipment adjustments and repairs to minimize production downtime
- Coordinate outsourced technical or repair assistance when needed
- Follow established maintenance priorities and communicate repair status and equipment concerns to the appropriate team members
- Request additional technical assistance when necessary
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow established safety procedures
- Assist with additional facility and equipment maintenance projects as needed
- Minimum of 3 years of applicable maintenance or equipment repair experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience disassembling, repairing, and reassembling production equipment
- Experience troubleshooting automated or industrial equipment
- Working knowledge of electrical, electronic, and industrial control technologies
- Experience troubleshooting sensors, motors, servos, pneumatics, and electronic components
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to prioritize maintenance requests and respond to equipment issues promptly
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear updates on repair status
- Able to work independently while recognizing when additional assistance is required
- Associate degree or technical certificate in Engineering, Electronics, Packaging, Mechanics, or a related field preferred
- An equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant work experience may be considered
