We are seeking a dedicated Diesel Mechanic to become a key member of our team located in San Diego, CA. Role SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Diesel Mechanic to become a key member of our team located in San Diego, CA. If you possess a strong drive for repairing and servicing heavy machinery and diesel engines, you will be joining a collaborative workplace that appreciates technical skill and rewards proactive problem‑solving in a hands‑on capacity.
Core Duties- Identify and resolve mechanical malfunctions within diesel engines and associated components.
- Execute scheduled maintenance and necessary fixes across our fleet of diesel vehicles and machinery.
- Verify that diesel engines are operating at peak efficiency and meeting safety standards through rigorous testing.
- Keep detailed documentation regarding all service tasks and repairs completed.
- Work alongside colleagues to help streamline operational workflows and boost overall productivity.
- Keep pace with emerging developments and innovations within the diesel sector.
- Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly following all established safety guidelines.
- Completion of high school or a GED; a technical credential in diesel repair is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated history of working as a diesel technician or in a comparable capacity.
- Deep understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine architectures.
- Capacity to analyze and utilize technical schematics and service documentation.
- Sharp analytical abilities and a meticulous approach to technical tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration within the shop.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a history of safe driving.

- Brake & Suspension Systems
- Preventive Maintenance & Inspection
- Transmission & Drivetrain Systems
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
- Automotive Repair
- ASE Automobile and Light Truck Certification Tests

- Lift Truck Repair & Maintenance
- Diesel & Heavy Equipment Systems
