Certified Restoration Inc is looking for a motivated Entry Level Water Damage Helper to join our growing team in San Diego, CA! This is a fantastic opportunity to break into the restoration industry, learn hands‑on skills, and build a rewarding career helping people recover from property damage. No experience? No problem — we'll train you!
What you'll do- Assist technicians on residential and commercial water damage jobs
- Extract standing water and remove wet drywall, flooring, and insulation
- Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers
- Move and protect furniture and belongings
- Keep job sites, vehicles, and equipment clean and organized
- Treat customers with care and respect during stressful situations
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet all day
- Comfort working in tight spaces like crawlspaces and attics, and in wet or dirty conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the shop
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen after a conditional offer of employment
- Availability for occasional evening, weekend, or on-call emergency work
- Paid on-the-job training
- Opportunity to earn IICRC certifications and advance to Technician
