The Direction of Education, Periscolaire and Educational Actions Service, welcomes nearly 4500 children during after-school times and 1400 children in its leisure centers (CML). The city has 7 CML maternal, 5 CML elementary and 2 CML primary. In order to support the organization and coordination of the animation teams on the large reception structures of the city, we are looking for deputy directors of CML.

We are looking for deputy directors of Municipal Leisure Centers, with a taste for teamwork, capable of ensuring the respect of the educational project carried by the City and the fulfillment of the children welcomed. The deputy director of CML assists the director in the global management of the leisure center for children or adolescents. His responsibilities may include the organization of activities, support to staff, management of registrations and schedules, resolution of daily problems, as well as communication with parents and partners.

He plays a pivotal role in on-the-ground support, in proximity with the teams. In the absence of the director, the deputy director may be required to assume his responsibilities.

Attached to the director of his structure, the deputy director of CML has the following main missions:

• Be the relay and take over the functions of the director in case of absence.
• Ensure the training and support of the teams by sharing his knowledge and by setting an example through field experiences.
• Ensure the training of new supervisors and trainees by on-the-ground support by example.
• Contribute to the elaboration and animation of the pedagogical project of the structure, in coherence with the educational project of the city.
• Assist the director in the optimization of human, financial, and material resources.
• Participate with the director in the good functioning of the leisure structure: welcome, material, respect of the current regulations, respect of hygiene and safety rules...
• Participate with the director in ensuring the relationship with the families and developing internal partnerships (other CML, after-school, school staff) and external partnerships (other directions of the City, National Education, associations…)
• Participate with the director in the elaboration and follow-up of a program of internal and external activities to the structure, in accordance with the pedagogical project and adapted to the needs of the child.
• Follow the children in situation of handicap and particular needs.

BAFD in progress minimum. An experience in the field of animation is strongly recommended. You are attentive, available and in permanent dialogue with the children. You know animation and supervision techniques and are rigorous in the respect of the schedules and in the application of the rules of collective life. You master the rules that govern the functioning of a collective reception of minors.

You enjoy teamwork and know how to work independently.

Deputy animation principal of 2nd class.

Art. L332-8 disposition 2 of the general code of the public service - A contractual employee may be recruited on this position for the needs of the services or by the nature of the functions when no candidacy of a civil servant has succeeded. The proposed contract cannot exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
