Under the supervision of the Program Director, and Department Director, Clinician is responsible for providing evidence‑based social‑emotional and mental health services to students within the San Ysidro School District, and their families. This position will include on‑site services and may include frequent travel between school sites throughout the week. Other responsibilities include working closely on a day‑to‑day basis with teachers, administrators, nurses, counselors, and caregivers to create a school environment which results in improved behavior and academic achievement for all students.

Services will be in keeping with the agency goals, objectives, mission, and style provided within a team framework.

• Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and consultation on school campuses, in keeping with SYSD and school policy.
• Utilize evidence‑based strategies to provide social emotional learning through developing social skills and conflict resolution.
• Conduct intakes, assessments, and treatment plans with clients.
• Conduct assessments with students and their families, as indicated by referrals.
• Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy, as well as case management, and collateral services, as indicated by assessments.
• Provide therapeutic, case management, and crisis intervention services to clients and their families.
• Process program referrals from designated school site.
