- Provide tailored and individualized job coaching for people with disabilities
- Coach and train workplace skills and the essential functions of job tasks
- Ensure access, success, and retention within competitive integrated employment positions
- Develop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with service providers
- Communicate progress toward goals
- Assist in maintaining case files and related paperwork required by PRIDE Industries and supporting agencies
- Perform assigned duties and special projects
- Transport to various locations within customer sites as needed for some positions
- Intermediate computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, database, and presentation software
- Ability to communicate effectively including listening, verbal, written, and presentation software
- Demonstrate ability to apply critical thinking to identify solutions to problems
- Demonstrate basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to manage competing priorities and exercise flexibility
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR/First Aid may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements
- Valid Driver's License may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements
- Ability to perform listed physical demands, including viewing computer screens, keyboarding, maneuvering around equipment, bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and moving or lifting boxes up to 25 pounds
- Experience working with adults with disabilities preferred
Demonstrates expertise in job coaching for individuals with disabilities, focusing on workplace skills, effective communication, and critical thinking to facilitate successful employment outcomes. Proficient in managing case files and maintaining collaborative relationships with service providers.
