The SWE QA team is seeking an OS Build Quality Engineer. We are responsible for the quality and stability of our daily builds of iOS, macOS, tvOS, vision

OS, and watch

OS with a special focus on upcoming products. We’re looking for organized, critical thinkers to drive the testing and coordination of quality efforts across software engineering. As a member of our fast-paced group, you will have the opportunity to shape and improve the software that allows our products to delight and inspire millions of Apple customers every day.

• Perform functional testing (manual and automated) of first-party applications on iOS, macOS, tvOS, vision
  
  OS, and watch
  
  OS.
• Design and implement test plans, test cases, risk analysis, and integration testing across Apple platforms.
• Identify, escalate, and communicate key build quality issues, and work towards resolutions on critical issues affecting build quality.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of small and large scale software features across multiple platforms.
• Design and review tests and coverage plans in alignment with different QA teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years professional experience in software development and testing
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional weekend work
• Ability to investigate, debug and triage difficult problems and independently work toward results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate close interaction with peers, management, development teams, and other organizations within Apple

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,500 and $231,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
