Job Duties and Responsibilities

Echo Star has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer Intern. This position will be located at our office in San Diego, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with senior software engineers in a team environment on exciting projects

* Innovate and contribute to creative solutions and improvements

* Assist in software development include designing, coding and testing

* Exposure to technology and design of communication systems

* Communicating status and progress of deliverables, and sharing learnings/ innovations with the team and stakeholders

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

* GPA 3.3 or above

* Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a related field of study

* Must have 60 credit hours completed by May 2026

Skills and

Qualifications:

* Knowledge of computer science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, algorithms, and data structures

* Familiarity with computer architecture, operating systems, and compilers

* Experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Python, C/C++, or C# including object-oriented design

* Interest in embedded systems, kernel development, and/or protocol software

* Effective oral communication skills

* Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $51,000.00/Year - $73,000.00/Year
