MGC's Audio team provides the audio foundation for various high profile features like Spatial Audio, Siri, Face Time, media capture, and playback.

** Description*
* As a Core Audio System Software engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and debugging audio system software for all of Apple's platforms. In particular, you will focus on the way audio is routed through the system, ensuring that any connected devices can be used to their full potential within the complex and feature-rich audio system. You will work across the full spectrum of audio experiences - from Face Time calls to Siri interactions to media playback - across a wide range of connected accessories including HDMI, USB audio, and Bluetooth.

The position will involve developing the software that is responsible for both running the audio hardware as well as exposing new audio features and capabilities throughout the system. The work involves close collaboration with hardware driver teams and various Apple technologies including Siri, Air Pods, Face Time, and Air Play.

** Minimum Qualifications*
* + Excellent software design/programming skills in C++ Solid understanding of object-oriented methodologies, multi-threaded programming and operating systems concepts

Experience with digital audio programming and solid debugging skills

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + BS or MS in CS, EE, or related experience.

+ At least two years of experience working in a collaborative software development environment.
