SummaryThe Full Stack Software Engineer works within the Application Development & Support team to provide software programming for new systems, production support, maintenance, and ad‑hoc support of key departmental business areas, databases, applications, and tools that drive business functions.
Responsibilities- Develop software at all layers by designing, implementing and testing code to meet requirements.
- Gain a thorough understanding of functional requirements for new software requests.
- Work with Business Systems Analysts to clarify software requirements and translate them into working software.
- Apply good software engineering techniques and standards to reduce coding errors and ensure robustness and efficiency.
- Identify and resolve technical or product problems.
- Maintain existing applications by enhancing software and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with team members and partners to ensure successful completion of assigned development tasks.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate recommendations.
- Apply Object Oriented Design principles and patterns in creating system‑level solution designs.
- Create and maintain software design specification documents.
- Communicate and present designs to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Provide excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication to manage difficult or emotional client situations.
- Respond promptly to client needs and solicit feedback to improve service.
- Respond to requests for service and assistance from clients and meet commitments.
- Associate's degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields from an accredited two‑year university.
- 4+ years of related software development experience.
- Hands‑on experience with Python and Java 21+.
- Experience with API/microservices, event‑driven architecture, object‑oriented design and programming, and API Gateways (Gravitee a plus).
- Experience with ActiveMQ or Apache Kafka (a plus).
- Experience with web application frameworks such as Angular or React, JavaScript, FastAPI/Flask, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience using Redis for caching and session storage.
- Experience with RDBMS products (PostgreSQL, Oracle 19C+, etc.) and SQL programming.
- Experience with Unix/Linux, Jenkins/Argo CD, Kubernetes.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle: analysis, design, development, implementation, and verification.
- Experience with Agile software development and JIRA/Confluence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in a team‑oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively according to Agile Scrum methodology.

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on project teams and/or matrix‑managed teams.
- Ability to schedule and prioritize multiple projects for timely delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, translating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Familiarity with PBM business model and pharmaceutical practices is a big plus.
- Reasoning ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
- Ability to interpret varied instructions and apply quantitative reasoning for software development.
- Language skills to read, interpret, and write technical documentation and routine business correspondence.

Work EnvironmentProfessional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and photocopiers. Noise level is usually moderate.
Work LocationOn‑site at company premises.
Working HoursFull‑time non‑exempt. Requires occasional overtime and the ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed. Typical hours:
Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑5:00pm.
No travel required, except possible local conferences and meetings.
