Platform Software Engineer (Senior Engineer)
ResponsibilitiesAs a Platform Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in understanding software product requirements, use cases, and applications, and how they integrate with specific hardware blocks or sub‑systems. Your responsibilities include leading the development, debugging, and customer interactions for various platform software drivers and modules, with the ultimate goal of delivering next‑generation, best‑in‑class solutions to automotive customers worldwide.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Exposure to automotive SW development processes and standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434).
- Knowledge of interaction types between hardware and software for different standard hardware blocks, CPU, and accelerators.
- Experience in software design and development for software layers found in SoCs (e.g., boot, drivers, embedded firmware, security, safety, kernels (Linux, QNX, SafeRTOS)).
- Embedded software development experience for ARM based systems.
- C programming, hardware debugging with JTAG, OS fundamentals, analytical and logical reasoning.
Pay range: $94,200.00 - $. Competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants. Additional benefits include comprehensive health, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness programs.
