Qualcomm is seeking an embedded software engineer with 0 to 3 years of experience for the Core Platform Kernel Services Software team. The team develops and deploys drivers and kernel services for system‑level debug, diagnostics, and inter‑process communication across multiple subsystems on Qualcomm SoCs. They maintain drivers across operating systems including QuRT OS, Windows, Linux, QNX, FreeRTOS, Zephyr, and more. The team collaborates with OEMs, ODMs, carriers, and OS providers to perform requirements analysis for new use cases.

The candidate will contribute to all stages of software development, documentation, design, implementation, and testing to deliver high‑quality, high‑performance solutions.

• Develop, maintain, and test drivers and kernel services across multiple operating systems.
• Perform requirements analysis in collaboration with OEMs, ODMs, carriers, and OS providers.
• Design and implement solutions for system‑level debug, diagnostics, and IPC.
• Contribute to documentation, design, implementation, and testing of software components.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• Experience in C and data structures, especially in embedded systems.
• Familiarity with ARM Core Sight architecture.
• Good understanding of CPU architecture.
• Ability to debug complex problems across multiple layers of hardware, OS, compiler, and drivers.
• Familiarity with ETM.
• Experience with Python.
• Assembly and C++ language experience.

$94,200.00 - $
