Position: AI Development Specialist - Central & West Regions

The AI Development Specialist plays a developer‑focused engagement role that combines deep technical knowledge of NVIDIA’s developer platform, enterprise coding assistant market, and consultative selling to drive AI‑accelerated application development for enterprise customers.

What will you be doing?

This role involves selling coding assistant & AINE solutions, co‑selling NVIDIA products, engaging enterprise development teams, and collaborating within a cross‑functional regional POD.

Responsibilities Coding Assistant & AINE Solutions with Services
  • Position and sell coding assistant & AINE solutions: vendor evaluation, pilot design, adoption strategy, developer workflow integration, security/governance, and productivity measurement.
  • Work with Global Solutions & Architecture and Service Consulting & Engineering to develop repeatable service packages such as pilot programs, productivity benchmarking, change management, and ROI measurement.
  • Engage enterprise development teams on AI‑assisted development: code generation, code review, testing automation, documentation, and IDE integration.
NVIDIA Developer Platform Co‑Sell
  • Co‑sell with NVIDIA teams on accelerating enterprise applications through NVIDIA‑optimized libraries, SDKs, and frameworks.
  • Translate NVIDIA’s value proposition into customer‑specific acceleration opportunities, identifying workloads where library optimization drives measurable performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with NVIDIA‑embedded SE resources on joint customer engagements, technical demonstrations, and proof‑of‑concept designs.
  • Stay current on NVIDIA’s developer tools roadmap including CUDA toolkit, AI Workbench, NeMo, Omniverse SDK, and emerging frameworks.
Enterprise Developer Engagement
  • Engage enterprise customers’ development and engineering leadership to position WWT as a partner for developer productivity and AI‑accelerated development.
  • Develop application acceleration assessments that quantify performance and cost impact of acceleration.
  • Contribute developer‑ecosystem intelligence to the broader AI team, reporting emerging tools, competitive dynamics, community trends, and adoption patterns.
POD & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Operate as an integrated member of the three‑person regional POD (AI Solutions Executive, AI Solutions Architect, AI Services Consultant) and participate in weekly cadence and pipeline reviews.
  • Serve as a trusted AI subject‑matter resource for field sales teams, embedding into account planning and strategy sessions.
  • Collaborate with AI Solutions Architects on linking application acceleration to infrastructure decisions such as GPU compute sizing and inference architecture.
  • Work with AI Services Consultants on engagements involving coding assistant or workforce AI services within broader consulting proposals.
  • Drive customer engagement strategy with AI Solutions Executive to identify, qualify, and close development‑linked business.
  • Contribute developer‑focused opportunity intelligence in division‑level pipeline reviews.
  • Integrate with regional sales teams to co‑sell AI solutions across the territory.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years in software engineering, developer tools sales, application platform sales, or developer relations/advocacy with transition to commercial or client‑facing roles.
  • Deep understanding of modern enterprise development practices: CI/CD, Dev Ops, platform engineering, cloud‑native development, and AI‑assisted coding workflows.
  • Working knowledge of NVIDIA’s developer tools and libraries: CUDA toolkit, cuDNN, TensorRT, RAPIDS, Triton, NeMo, AI Workbench. Comfortable co‑selling with NVIDIA teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the enterprise coding assistant market:
    Git Hub Copilot, Amazon Q, Gemini, Cursor, Claude, Windsurf & Devin, and emerging tools, including licensing models, deployment patterns, security/IP considerations, and productivity measurement.
  • Ability to translate developer productivity tools into business‑outcome conversations: velocity, defect reduction, retention, time‑to‑market.
  • Comfortable scoping and proposing consulting engagements: application acceleration assessments, coding assistant pilots, productivity benchmarking.
