We are seeking ambitious, bright and innovative engineers with experience in automotive software functional safety, test concepts, and software process improvement. The environment is fast‑paced and requires cross‑functional and cross‑site interaction on a daily basis. Qualcomm has unlocked 5G and mobile technologies and is building Snapdragon Digital Chassis – a cloud‑connected platform for telematics, connectivity, digital cockpit, and advanced driver assistance and autonomy.

Our team advances ADAS and autonomous driving, using 4G, 5G, V2V, V2X, signal and image processing, computer vision, and deep learning.

• 3+ years of software development, planning, test case design/development and validation experience in Linux, QNX, Android, multimedia, kernels and device driver domains.
• 3+ years of strong automation experience with test case development (C/C++, Python required).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to create and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases, report bugs and validate bug fixes.

• Automotive domain test experience and exposure to IVI, ADAS and autonomous driving features.
• Experience with HIL (Hardware‑in‑Loop) and SIL (Software‑in‑Loop) test methodologies for embedded systems.
• Test experience on multimedia/cv/ai technologies – camera, audio, video, graphics, EVA/AI, neural networks and AI processing.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR fundamentals (e.g., BSD, CDD).

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 1+ year of software engineering experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python.
