Software Engineer
Qualcomm Incorporated is looking for a hands-on software engineer for its enterprise AI platform focused on knowledge retrieval engineering, agentic pipeline development, agent runtime management, and agent powered applications.
This is a fast-paced, execution-focused role involving rapid delivery of features, continuous iteration on pipelines, building new agentic solutions for business processes, and integration of agentic capabilities into existing solutions.
This role requires full-time onsite work in San Diego, CA (5 days per week). This role is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities- Strong Python and Rust skills for data processing and application development.
- Experience with Search systems (Lexical, Semantic).
- Understanding of ML fundamentals and NLP/embeddings.
- Hands-on experience with RAG systems and LLM-based applications.
- Experience building AI applications (including Agentic AI workflows).
- Experience with API/service development (REST).
- Solid understanding of Agentic frameworks (Lang Chain, Agno, etc.).
- Tracing/observability tools for LLM systems.
- Experience with Elasticsearch / vector search.
- Docker / Kubernetes exposure.
- Multi-agent systems and evaluation frameworks.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $94,200.00 - $
