Embedded Software Development Engineer

Overview

Kitu Systems, Inc is a startup building an exciting cloud service for IoT applications. We are looking for engineers who can develop beautiful and intuitive code for challenging applications.

We are looking for an experienced C software developer with a strong belief in the value of requirements and testing. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated and naturally inquisitive.

• Development and integration of C software on Linux‑based platforms
• Interfacing with customers to support software integration
• Ability to work as part of a dedicated project team as well as independently

• Knowledge of Git for software configuration management
• Strong knowledge of the Linux kernel and architecture
• Familiarity with networking
• Experience with multi‑threaded software development
• Self‑starting and ability to work with minimal supervision

• Linux experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience in C development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field
