Position: Web Application Software Engineer with Security Clearance
Description:

On-site in San Diego, CA Our client seeks multiple levels of web application software engineers to build and maintain functional web pages and applications. The role spans web service development, full stack web application development, and robust persistence layer implementations in an Agile Scrum environment. The team leverages Themes, Epics, User Stories, acceptance criteria, and other system engineering artifacts. The engineer will apply secure software development principles and clean coding techniques to produce maintainable, efficient, reliable, understandable, secure, and fault tolerant code that meets S.O.L.I.D principles.

The role collaborates with software engineers, system engineers, information assurance engineers, test engineers, quality assurance, and other project team members. The engineer will help set standards and guide the team in adopting Test Driven Development practices within the Agile framework to ensure appropriate engineering rigor. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

* Design, develop, and maintain web services, full stack web applications, and data persistence layers.
* Apply secure software development practices and clean coding techniques aligned to S.O.L.I.D principles.
* Work within Agile Scrum using Themes, Epics, User Stories, and acceptance criteria.
* Integrate with CI pipelines and test automation tools.
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, information assurance, testing, and quality teams.
* Establish and advocate for TDD standards and practices within the team. Experience Requirements:
* Experience delivering web applications and services in an Agile environment.
* Hands-on practice with secure coding and test automation within CI workflows.
* Proficiency implementing persistence layers and interfacing software components.
* Background applying S.O.L.I.D principles and clean coding practices.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate requirements and quality expectations across teams.

Education Requirements:

* Active Secret Clearance.
