What You’ll Work On

• Work across the stack to build iterative solutions
• Design scalable and resilient member data import pipelines to be able to handle exponential member growth with confidence.
• Design and build solutions to leverage technology to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reduce overhead in labor-intensive processes.
• Design data models and workflows to store and use complex and highly configurable data.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to make sure we’re building the right solutions for the right problems.
• Move fast, rapidly prototype solutions, and work across the stack.
• Contribute to our microservices architecture that runs our product.

• A BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering work experience.
• 5+ years of Java development work experience.
• 1+ years of Java script development work experience.
• Experience with DBs - SQL / No
  
  SQL.
• Experience with Heroku or AWS.
• Understanding of modern backend framework(s) such as Spring Boot, Hibernate and any Search framework.
• Proficient with RESTful web development and client-server architecture.
• Understanding Docker and Kubernetes.
• Already worked with CI and Git.
• Thoughtful, detailed communication style through code and design reviews.
• Previous startup experience is a plus.
• Experience working in an agile environment with multiple partners.
