Summary:
Looking for Embedded SW engineers interested in developing software for IoT devices. Specifically, the position involves developing embedded software support.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of and experience in Linux Kernel, Device Driver Model; experience in Linux camera sensor driver bring‑up.
- Experience in Camera HAL development; knowledge of 3A algorithms, tuning experiences, and familiarity with MIPI, GMSL, I2C, GPIOs.
- Strong C & C++ programming and debugging skills required.
- Experience on Image Signal Processing concepts.
- Android camera frameworks and applications;
Linux framework knowledge (V4L2) a great plus. - Experience in Multimedia software development engineering for Linux based embedded systems.
- OpenCL, OpenGL for algorithm development will be a plus.
- Strong communication skills – able to understand and explain highly technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Familiar with Qualcomm CamX Architecture is an added advantage.
- Applies knowledge and experience of Camera to design, develop, debug, implement, and verify camera software (e.g., Camera Image Signal Processor, 3A, Image Quality, Tuning Tools, etc.), algorithms, and features.
- Designs or architects IQ modules, algorithms, and feature decompositions to drive requirements and specifications for both hardware and software.
- Ensures image quality, software conformance tests, and performance and power metrics are met to deliver camera software to customers.
- Collaborates with customers and team members throughout project life cycle to design, develop, and optimize camera software.
- Writes detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for Camera SW projects to guide users and/or customers to use or implement software.
- Works under supervision.
- Decision‑making may affect work beyond the immediate work group.
- Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information. May require basic negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
- Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions.
- Tasks require multiple steps that can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem‑solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Salary is only one component of total compensation. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants. Employees on sales‑incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus.
