Job Description

San Diego, California – Join Resmed’s Digital Healthcare team to contribute to a patient‑management platform that empowers healthcare professionals worldwide.

We are a small, cross‑functional product team within Resmed’s Sleep Care Solutions organization. Working with product managers, UX designers, and other development teams globally, we own features from design to production, continuously improving infrastructure, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and AI‑powered workflows.

We seek a well‑rounded engineer comfortable with front‑end, back‑end, and dev‑ops tasks. Candidates should thrive autonomously and collaboratively, be fluent with AI tools such as Git Hub Copilot, and be willing to engage with cross‑functional teams across time zones (Sydney and Halifax).

• Extend existing frameworks and services to implement new features and innovate products.
• Own feature projects involving the design and architecture of new microservices and micro‑frontends in a React micro‑frontend architecture.
• Collaborate on the design, implementation, and support of Kubernetes infrastructure and services.
• Expand automated unit, integration, and contract testing frameworks and tooling.
• Implement security and performance improvements to services.
• Provide production support as needed.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience delivering production features in an object‑oriented language (Java preferred).
• Experience delivering production features with a Web Application Framework (React preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to write clean, maintainable code following best engineering practices.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with automated unit, end‑to‑end, integration, and contract tests.
• Experience using Jira and Datadog for task and monitoring management.
• Experience coding with AI tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
