** QA Engineer
** to help ensure our Watch experience is rock-solid and customer-focused. We're looking for critical thinkers who want to play a key role in qualifying Watch System Experiences and the frameworks that support them. We practice nimble, fast-paced development that relies heavily on a tight relationship between Engineering and QA. As a member of our passionate watchOS QA team, you'll have the unique and rewarding opportunity to shape and improve the software that allows our products to delight and inspire millions of Apple customers every day.

In this position, you will need to be self-motivated with strong technical and interpersonal skills. Day-to-day tasks will involve functional testing of iOS and watchOS applications, with a focus on Watch System Experiences. Responsibilities include design and implementation of test plans and test cases, risk analysis, cross-functional testing coordination, and integration testing across the system.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Execute various types of testing including functional, regression, and performance testing
• Document and track issues using appropriate tools
• Collaborate closely with development teams
• Monitor quality metrics throughout the product development lifecycle
• Identify and elevate critical issues to ensure timely resolution

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent recent on-the-job experience in Software QA

• Passionate about Shipping with Quality
• Enthusiasm for customer-focused design and high-quality technology
• Passion for debugging difficult problems and driving results with cross-functional teams
• Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
• Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance creating test plans for new products and features
• Comfortable and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams, management, and other organizations within Apple
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
• Excited about Watch System Experiences and watchOS

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $114,800 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
