AI Architect

We have an exciting opportunity for an AI Architect with one of our direct clients.

We are seeking a highly experienced AI Architect with 10+ years of software engineering experience and a strong background in designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI solutions. In this role, you will lead the architecture and development of a next-generation Disposition Engine that transforms deterministic detections into scalable, explainable, and auditable AI-driven decisions within a regulated financial services environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the end-to-end AI architecture, designing deterministic and LLM-based reasoning pipelines, building evaluation frameworks, and leading technical design discussions while remaining hands-on with coding, code reviews, and production deployments. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to develop scalable AI systems that leverage Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Knowledge Graphs, Agentic AI, and AWS cloud technologies.

• Design and own the end-to-end architecture for AI-powered decision and reasoning systems.
• Build scalable deterministic and LLM-based decision pipelines with explainability and auditability.
• Define AI evaluation strategies, validation frameworks, confidence scoring, and regression testing.
• Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Knowledge Graph, and multi-agent AI workflows.
• Lead technical design sessions, mentor engineering teams, and review production-quality code.
• Drive AI solution development using modern AI coding assistants while following best practices for MLOps, testing, CI/CD, and software engineering.
• Ensure AI solutions meet regulatory, governance, and compliance requirements with reproducible decision-making.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Python.
• Extensive experience building production-grade AI/LLM applications using AWS Bedrock (Claude) or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks such as Lang Graph or equivalent, including multi-agent orchestration, prompt engineering, context management, and tool integration.
• Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Knowledge Graphs (Neo4j/Amazon Neptune), semantic search, and retrieval pipeline optimization.
• Experience designing deterministic AI workflows, evaluation harnesses, golden datasets, confidence calibration, and model validation strategies.
• Strong understanding of AI architecture, system design, scalable distributed applications, and cloud-native development on AWS.
• Experience with SQL Server, Informatica Power Center, AWS DMS, CI/CD pipelines, and modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
• Excellent communication, technical leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working on large-scale modernization, migration, or AI transformation programs within regulated enterprise environments is highly preferred.
