* Research, design, and implement innovative technologies for automating, integrating, and delivering containerized web applications and services for the Department of Defense (DoD) in an orchestrated and controlled manner.
* Day-to-day efforts include working with highly talented professionals and subject matter experts to design, implement, and sustain mission-critical software systems that provide US Navy warfighters with tools and resources for successfully planning and executing missions.
* Learn and contribute to development tasks in Java, Groovy, Kotlin, and/or front-end frameworks.
* Conduct manual and exploratory testing to ensure quality across a range of software systems.
* Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and traceability to requirements.
* Support efforts to enhance automation, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration.

Required Qualifications
* Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one. To learn more about the security clearance process please access this link
* Associate degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of two (2) years in software development.
* Familiarity with Java, Groovy, Kotlin, or another OOP language.
* Comfortable working in Linux environments.
* Experience with building tools like Gradle or Maven.

Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL). In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment.
