As a Software Engineer, New Grad, you'll be coached by a diverse team of engineers, and you'll have a direct hand in a codebase that's complex, growing, and shipping constantly.

• Work across Product or Infrastructure Engineering, depending on team match
• Build with the stack your team uses:
  Type Script, React, Python, and Django on the product side;
  Python, Rust, Kafka, Click House, and Kubernetes on the infra side
• Own the full software development lifecycle, design, development, testing, and operating in production
• Communicate effectively with engineers on your team, engineers on other teams, and stakeholders like product managers
• Act on feedback, coaching, and mentorship from your manager and teammates

• Want to actively use the product you're building (we dogfood Sentry every day)

• B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or similar degree program)
• At least 1 previous internship or equivalent practical experience
• Implementation skills with one or more general-purpose programming languages, e.g. Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.
• Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and object‑oriented design principles
• Experience working with version control and unit testing

The base salary range (or hourly wage range, if applicable) that Sentry reasonably expects to pay for this position is $145,000 - $150,000. A successful candidate’s actual base salary (or hourly wage) amount will be determined by a variety of relevant factors including, without limitation, the candidate’s work location, education, work and other relevant experience, skills, and job‑related knowledge.
