We are seeking an AI Engineer to join our Data and AI team. This role combines expertise in machine learning and software engineering to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions. You will own the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, integrate models into applications, and ensure optimal performance in production environments. You will join a team supporting the company's operations. This role will be crucial in the planning and execution of projects and driving customer satisfaction through delivering Data and AI solutions.
As an AI Engineer you will be responsible for understanding, planning, and communicating technical opportunities and limitations to the team, working with both DnA team members and customers to satisfy customer needs.
To be successful in this role you must be able to communicate with a wide variety of individuals with varying levels of technical experience. You must be organized, have strong time management and planning abilities. Experience with Python, Snowflake, Github, Azure, and software engineering lifecycle is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Lifecycle:
Prepare, select models, train, and evaluate performance. - Application Integration:
Embed AI models into frontend and backend systems. - Performance Optimization:
Reduce latency and cost, keeping accuracy and reliability. - Deployment & Observability:
Collaborate with Technical Lead to ensure robust deployment and monitoring of AI solutions.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
- Strong foundation in machine learning fundamentals and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Python, cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and application frameworks.
- Ability to design, implement, and evaluate models for real-world business use cases.
- Experience with APIs, microservices, and system integration.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, statistics, or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MLOps practices for scalable deployment
- Experience in government or defense projects with security compliance.
- Knowledge of observability tools and performance monitoring.
- Extensive knowledge of Snowflake, Python, Azure, Github.

Salary: 80k+ dependent on education and experience
