Job Summary:

The AWS Data Lead will lead and manage a team of engineers, define the team's vision, and collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers and senior engineers by providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Define and communicate the engineering team’s vision, mission, and goals.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential impact on the organization.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure the successful design, development, and execution of the product, project, or deliverables.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with Core Java/J2EE (Spring, Hibernate, MVC).
• Experience working on Microservices.
• Good experience on AWS Cloud, MSK, Kinesis, Lambda.
• Good hands-on experience on AWS Glue using Apache Spark, Amazon EMR.
• Good experience on container orchestration systems like Kubernetes, ECS.
• Good working knowledge of SPRING Framework & Spring Boot.
• Good experience with Kafka and other messaging systems like RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience with REST-based web services.
• Hands-on experience with SQL queries and MySQL or other RDBMS.
• Testing experience in JUnit, Spock, or Groovy.
• Experience with GIT & Maven.
• Experience in writing design documents and good knowledge of UML.
• Handling experience in AWS data engineering projects.

Preferred:

• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with code quality tools like Sonar, Checkstyle, Find Bugs.
• Experience working on Dev Ops and related toolsets.
