Full-Time On-Site
- – Lead Service Now App Engine development and legacy application migration activities.
- – Analyze current applications, workflows, data structures, and business processes to define future-state Service Now solutions.
- – Plan and execute data mapping, transformation, migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.
- – Redesign business workflows using Flow Designer, forms, UI policies, Business Rules, Service Catalog components, and automation.
- – Develop and support REST and SOAP integrations required by custom or migrated applications.
- – Configure secure application access using ACLs, RBAC, IAM, CAC, MFA, field-level security, form-level security, and PII protection controls.
- – Develop migration approaches, technical designs, test plans, deployment plans, and production cutover activities.
- – Support functional testing, UAT, defect resolution, post-production validation, and application sustainment.
- – Conduct requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, process workshops, and gap analyses; translate needs into user stories and technical solutions.
- – Participate in code reviews and technical design reviews and apply Service Now development best practices.
- – Develop application and migration documentation and provide training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to government personnel.
Skills & Qualifications
- – Minimum of 5 years of progressive IT experience.
- – Minimum of 3 years of direct, hands‑on Service Now development experience.
- – Active Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- – Active Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- – Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in a core workflow area, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
- – Active IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, or another qualifying certification.
- – Active or eligible Top Secret clearance and eligibility for access to Naval Base San Diego.
- – Willing and able to work full‑time on‑site in San Diego, California.
- – Experience working in Agile development environments and participating in sprint planning, standups, demos, and technical reviews.
- – Strong customer‑facing communication, requirements‑gathering, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- – Ability to comply with applicable Navy and DoD cybersecurity workforce requirements.
- – Service Now App Engine and custom application development.
- – Legacy application modernization and workflow redesign.
- – Data mapping, transformation, migration, reconciliation, and validation.
- – Flow Designer, forms, UI policies, Business Rules, and automation.
- – Testing, UAT, production cutover, documentation, and post‑migration sustainment.
- – Oracle APEX migration or modernization experience.
- – Experience migrating legacy applications and business processes into Service Now.
- – Experience supporting Navy, DoD, or other federal customers.
- – Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and secure application design.
- – Experience implementing CAC, MFA, IAM, RBAC, ACLs, and PII protection controls.
- – Experience conducting architecture walkthroughs and technical design reviews.
The customer expects the development team to help government personnel administer, configure, enhance, and sustain the delivered Service Now solutions. The successful candidate should be comfortable providing application administration and configuration training, custom application and workflow demonstrations, technical and migration documentation, mentoring, architecture walkthroughs, and knowledge transfer sessions.
