Logistics Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform yearly inventory checks by comparing equipment on hand to what is officially authorized, using Navy inventory systems.
• Create and submit quarterly readiness reports, meeting summaries, and an annual inventory validation report.
• Build equipment purchase lists and provide input on upgrades and replacements for logistics planning conferences.
• Oversee more than 300 storage containers, including tracking equipment, reporting readiness status, and coordinating equipment disposal.
• Identify outdated or unusable equipment, complete required paperwork, and coordinate turn-in or disposal actions.
• Review and update inventory instructions, equipment lists, and logistics support requirements each year.
• Work with multiple Navy units to ensure expeditionary logistics equipment is ready and available to support operations.

• At least five (5) years of experience in Navy expeditionary logistics.
• Experience managing Tables of Allowance and using Navy logistics and inventory systems.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and logistics-related reporting.
• Ability to work with multiple Navy commands and meet strict readiness deadlines.
• Strong written communication skills for reports and official documentation.
