Donation Center Attendant II​/Float Attendant

Hourly Rate

$21.00 - $22.50

Accepts donations on behalf of Goodwill at our standalone or storefront donation centers. Provides excellent customer service to donors.

• Opens and closes assigned donation center sites according to schedule.
• Accepts donations per guidelines, greeting donors and completing receipts accurately.
• Maintains cleanliness of interior and exterior of the site, including the trailer and unattended donation center.
• Completes daily administrative tasks including counts of donors, sorting and submitting receipts, and tally sheets.
• Safeguards donations and company property.
• Communicates supply needs, safety concerns, and unusual situations to supervisor or coordinator.
• Safely loads donations into bins and organizes trailers.
• Assists truck helpers and drivers with loading into trucks.
• Communicates daily with dispatch about product volumes and transportation needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Travels to locations within the region as required.

Education High School Graduate or GED preferred.

Experience Six months to one year of customer service preferred.

Certificates and Licenses Valid CA Driver’s License with acceptable driving record. Insured personal vehicle and ability to travel to centers within a determined area.
