Transportation Logistics Coordinator

Transportation & Logistics Operations Professional Core Responsibilities

Freight & Shipment Management:
Coordinate third-party logistics operations, including intermodal, over-the-road (OTR), and cross-border freight. Manage outbound LTL, FTL, and intermodal shipments from planning through delivery.

Load Planning:
Coordinate dedicated truck operations and load planning.

Carrier Management:
Support day-to-day TPL operations, manage carrier performance and KPIs, and maintain strong carrier relationships.

Systems Utilization:
Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Yard Management Systems (YMS) to manage shipment data.

Tracking & Invoicing:
Track and trace shipments, ensure timely POD collection, and support invoicing.

Process Optimization:
Develop and implement SOPs to optimize transportation processes, improve efficiency, and maximize carrier utilization.

Customer Service:
Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
