Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious General Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position involves team lifting heavy sections of garage doors and loading/unloading shipments. The ideal candidate will work well in a team environment, follow instructions carefully, and contribute to a safe and efficient warehouse operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team-lift garage door sections and components safely and efficiently.
* Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
* Inspect incoming and outgoing products for accuracy and damage.
* Organize and stage materials in the warehouse according to procedures.
* Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
* Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
* Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
Requirements:
* Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 lbs with a team.
* Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
* Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
* Dependable, punctual, and a team player.
* Forklift experience is a plus (not required).
Work Environment:
* Indoor/outdoor warehouse setting.
* Frequent exposure to varying temperatures.
* Use of safety gear (gloves, steel-toed boots, etc.).
