Materials Inspector

Bio Phase specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for the San Diego County Scientific community. We are currently looking for a contract-to-potential-hire ONSITE Receiving Associate I to work for a leading San Diego diagnostic company.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips
• Check for shipping damage or discrepancies and document findings
• Perform basic quality checks per SOPs and internal specifications
• Label, quarantine, release, and transfer materials as required
• Enter and verify inventory transactions in ERP system (SAP preferred)
• Ensure proper storage conditions, including temperature control and material segregation
• Assist with lot tracking, expiration dates, and inventory counts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Follow all SOPs, quality, and safety guidelines

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of experience in receiving, inspection, or warehouse operations
• Experience in a regulated or life sciences environment preferred
• Familiarity with inventory systems; SAP experience a plus
• Comfortable handling chemicals or biologics (preferred)
• Able to lift up to 40lbs and stand/walk for extended period
