Job Summary

The San Diego County Registrar of Voters is seeking Warehouse Associates to fill temporary employment positions for warehouse operations in the upcoming June 2, 2026 election. The ideal candidate follows direction, is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Strong communication skills and the ability to safely operate county vehicles are essential to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday.
• May include holidays, weekends and extended hours.

• High attention to detail (matching numbers, sorting, packaging).

• Assemble poll worker supplies by counting, sorting, scanning, matching sequence numbers, packaging.
• Load supplies into storage containers per load list.
• Operate mid-sized vehicle or 16’ box truck to deliver & pick up supplies per routes.
• Conduct diagnostic testing & prepare voting systems per instructions.
• Safely move items using pallet jacks, hand trucks, dollies.
• Store supplies organized & secure.
• Load/unload trucks using dock levelers.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness using cleaning tools.
• Receive & unpack supplies, verify descriptions & quantities against records.
• Conduct inventory counts, maintain accurate supply records.
