• Receives material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptly.
• Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list and / or prepares a receiving report if none is available.
• Assists common carriers and warehouse personnel with loading and unloading vehicles, as needed.
• Processes paperwork regarding UPS shipments including verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, applying the correct UPS postage tape, following customer shipping instructions and insuring the shipment when necessary.
• Gathers assembled orders that are in carts and verifies their quantities and descriptions.
• Counts and writes total quantity of merchandise being shipped on the invoice.
• Packs each order into a container and arranges the container onto a shelf according to truck route.
• Assembles customer orders to be shipped via UPS.
• Stocks incoming orders onto shelves.
• Verifies quantities and items being shipped against the invoice.
• Scans supplier packing slips, receiving documents and any necessary paperwork into Meta Viewer, as needed.
• Contributes to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment and assumes responsibility for immediately addressing safety concerns.
• Maintains warehouse and keeps shelves and floor clean.
• Follows all established warehouse Standard Operating Procedures.
• Follows all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and operates in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license.
• Previous working experience overseeing general supply chain management processes in a physical demands warehouse environment.
• Ability to stand continuously, lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and repetitive use of hands/manual dexterity.
• Experience operating forklifts, cherry picker, pallet wrappers, and other warehouse equipment.
• Strong time management skills, along with multi‑tasking, prioritizing and problem‑solving capabilities.
• High attention to detail and level of accuracy in processing orders and maintaining records.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with co‑workers, organize, and prioritize job tasks to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
• Goal‑oriented and self‑motivated with ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Strong industrial B and C‑class level component knowledge including mechanics/electrical products, fasteners, and fabricated goods is preferred.
• Proficiency in WMS and Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work overtime, when necessary.
